The social media assistant is responsible for brainstorming campaigns, creating social media posts, and analyzing data.

The purpose of this role is to drive audience size and engagement, ultimately resulting in downstream sales pipeline.

The Social Media assistant is responsible for brainstorming campaigns, creating social media posts, and analyzing data.

The purpose of this role is to drive audience size and engagement, ultimately resulting in a downstream in your sales pipeline.

WHAT WILL A MARKETING AND  SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT DO FOR YOU?

Core responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Brainstorm campaigns.
  • Create social media posts.
  • Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.
  • Research industry innovations and tools.
  • Design and prepare posts using (insert design tool e.g. Canva)
  • Update posts to include relevant keywords and hashtags
  • Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.
  • Liaise with local influencers as needed
  • Community management: Reply to messages and engage with comments in a timely manner
  • General management of Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn and Tiktok Accounts

Skills and Knowledge

  • Must have 1-2+ years of experience with social media management and marketing on various social media platforms such as Facebook/IG, Twitter, and Tiktok
  • Must have experience with Canva or any Graphic Design Software
  • Tech Savvy candidate
  • Excellent written and oral English communication abilities

Technology & Software Platforms

  • A modern computer and good internet connection.
  • Experience or familiarity with the following software (or similar):
    • Project Management Tool (Monday.com, Asana)
    • CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce - for data entry, management, and clean-up of contacts
    • Email and document suite (Google Workspace, Office 365)
    • Design Tool (Canva, Adobe)
    • Social Platforms (Facebook, Tiktok)
    • Social Scheduling Software (Buffer, HubSpot, Sprout Social)
