WHAT WILL A TELESALES ROLE DO FOR YOU?

Core responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Utilize (Insert CRM), calling, LinkedIn, Chat and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Engage with inbound leads quickly to answer their questions and book them into sessions with the sales team.
  • Identify prospect's objectives and link them back to the importance of the next step which is a conversation with a sales person.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the sales team to ensure a great customer experience and
  • Update CRM contacts and create applicable deal/opportunities.
  • Management of pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are being worked on a timely manner

Skills and Knowledge

  • Digital literacy – High level computer literacy including the proficient use of a range of Microsoft applications.
  • Communication – Fluent English written and verbal communication.
  • Accurately follow instructions – Ability to consistently follow procedures to ensure tasks are carried out exactly as required.
  • Proactively manages his/her own work tasks and has the ability to work flexibly, switch between tasks and respond to multiple demands.
  • Previous Sales experience with a similar customer profile.
  • Research capability - this should be their second nature when acquiring new prospects or in preparation to making contact to a new lead.
  • Closing or negotiating skills - critical aspect that every salesperson should have, their ability to convince prospect to accept their offer.

Technology & Software Platforms

  • A modern computer and good internet connection.
  • Experience or familiarity with the following software (or similar):
    • Project Management Tool (Monday.com, Asana).
    • Calendar app - Calendly, Google Calendar, etc. any kind of scheduling tool for booking a meeting.
    • CRM tool such as HubSpot or Salesforce - for data entry, management, and clean up of contacts.
    • Dialer - could be external or integrated in your current CRM - for inbound and outbound calls.
    • Email and document suite (Google Workspace, Office 365).
